Today, something became official, that was guessed long ago. Ducky teams up with fnatic.
After fnatic used Ducky as stand-in for their latest clanwars many people suspected him teaming up with fnatic, today it became official.
unique as a team will not disband, as valeur said on unique's homepage. Both, valeur and Ducky sat down with GosuGamers, for some quick questions:
What do you expect from your team in the future? Who will fill out the leader spot, and what do you think Ducky can do in his new team?
Even though the loss of our leader is of course staggering to the team, we are fairly confident that we will rise from the setback as a stronger team - we still have great players with lots of potential. For the time being I will fill out the leader spot until we've had a bloody internal struggle with one man emerging the victor! On a more serious note, we will see how things proceed and adapt according to the situation.
I think that Donald can be an asset to his new team, in form of the support player they needed. All of unique-esports wish Donald-Duck the best! :)
The roster of unique will not be changed in other ways, and look as following:
Minitio
BabyKnight
Durum
Valeur
SmiskeAnd as said before, we were able to catch Ducky for some quick questions as well:
When you team up with the guys, will it be under fnatic, or is there still a possibility to join Aeon?
Well I will be teaming up with the lads, but what flag we will play under I'm not sure about, so far I think the team is still known as fnatic. Nothing is really clear since the team's dream is to go to SMM. But yeah we team up! And I'm happy to be with the lads they are all cool.
So you will attend SMM?
Nothing is clear at the moment, I have no idea I just know its the dream of the team. I'm just a member and hasn't spoken to anyone from the organization yet. Time will tell.
Where do you get your confidence from after those two clear losses against MYM tonight?
From beating EG in a scrim right after :), nahh MYM had prepared a lot before these games. It seems, at least they played a lot better than our last game. I'm sure everyone is still at high spirit. We will get our revenge next time.
After dropping Freezer again, fnatics line up is down to five again:
Edvin 'Kwom' Börjesson
Jonathan 'Loda' Berg
Jesper "Miracle" Nyhlén
Rasmus 'MiSeRy' Berth Filipsen
Andreas "Donald-Duck" SøgaardLinks
