New Leagues: Kael League and DotA Pride League

Inhouse Leagues are well known and have a history in DotA. The first hype started with IHCS back in the days, and now it is IDEC who reigns. IDEC provides many replays and there is no real competition.
NIHL stays in the shadows of IDEC and many Leagues got closed, basicly because they just copied the system of good existing Leagues but were not able to attract members.

Lately two new Inhouse Leagues got announced. Namely: DotA Pride League and Kael Inhouse League.

Kael:
A brand new league has formed, and its name is Kael League.

Kael league is a new league, next-generation, that will provide a great experience for both Pros, amateurs, and even brand new players. Kael League will have 3 divisions, Pro, Amateur, and "Kael.Free", so every player gets to play with people their level in a friendly format. It has been announced, that there will be prize money for the top 3 players every season, and also a great appeal/ban system. Kael League will be an in-house league, not a team vs team league.

Now, a few questions with one of the admins of Kael League, RussiaYaroslav "NS" Kuznetcov:

Why did you decide to open a new league?

NS: Dota is our favourite game, like yours. We can offer a new league to the Dota Community, and every newbie and pro will be able to play with other players of their skill-level and improve it! Dota players of any skill level will be interested in this league.

What do you mean by "next-generation"?

NS: If you have played at other DotA leagues, you may have had some problems. Some of these leagues are only for professional players, and you haven’t any chances to get in there. While others are just low-skilled, not even better than a pub. The rest of them have admins abusing their rights.

Kael League will certainly be a very unique league, especially with the inclusion of prize money, and a better ban and appeal system. Their website is not up at this moment, but come the 10th of September it will be up and running.

DotA Pride League:

The league was founded by Russia Denis "gamemaster" Shitsov, Russia Mickle "Stoorm" Schepalin and Greece George "Abby" Grecos.

The concept is pretty simple but promising: The league is split into two divisions. Division 1 is for the pro players, mostly top clans and IDEC players. Division 2 is for everyone who got vouched. It will be three different types of games:
First type is a division 1 only mode. Where the pros can play amongst them, like it is in IDEC now.
Second type will be a division 1 game "open for everyone" so that everyone can play with the pros. This will be created by a division 1 player and set to free for both divisions.
And the last type is a division 2 game. A normal game for everyone.

The first season will start at September 12th 2009. For prizes there will be 1000-1500 $ splitted between the top three players and the player with the longest streak. Every player can reach the top of the ranking, so the prizes are not only limited to division 1 players.

The platform is a mix of mIRC and Garena, as it is common. Games will be created in the mIRC Channel #dota.pride that can only be accessed after you got vouched. And the games itself will be played on Garena.

There will also be an online 5v5 tournament held by DotA Pride League with cash prizes.
