Once more, StarsBoba seems to be the favourite to win this year's Asian DotA Championship. Three years of winning in a row?
It is no surprise to see
StarsBoba again on the ADC. This year, their last match (and maybe the hardest) was against Masta, the other finalist on the local qualifiers. The game was bo3, and StarsBoba won the first two.Both games are worth watching, specially if you like good team fights. You can download both replays at our Replay Section. (link1) (link2)
For now, we know all qualified teams (read the previous news here for more info) for the second part of the tournament, the Regular Season, which will be one round per week over nine weeks in bo3 format. After that, the first two teams are directly on the Playoff (last phase of ADC) and the 3rd~6th ranked will fight. The winners go to the Playoff as well, which has a bo3 format and double elimination.
Don't matter the final standing of a team, they are all getting a piece of the $4350 USD cake. The prize distribution is:
Champion: $1,200
Runner-up: $800
2nd Runner-up: $600
4th Place: $400
5th Place: $350
6th Place: $300
7th Place: $250
8th Place: $200
9th Place: $150
10th Place: $100
