25cm: crazed fan, Tzar, Chiuahuaa, Matori, Phan, Jova

Besides the regular interview, Phan, Andre and 25cm team manager Flow4v had a lot more to say. The following statements share their feelings about the development of the team and explain how 25cm looks from the inside.

Serbia 25cm.Phan:
During the very long period throughout the clan 25cm progress, its history and past, it didn't really attract me to play any competitive dota with their players, I didn't really like their play-style or organisation. One of the players who gave a lot thought into making our team is Matori, our current captain. Along with him, the both of us decided to land a crew of standard people to play some good games.
After Buktops's departure, the team was in a bad place and disbandment was very close. Until both Matori and I reformed a new team with a well known line-up and stable players who managed to make our clan tag popular, within a pretty short time.
Phan: What impresses me most about the team is how much we enjoy playing together, our persistence, and the unbelievable effort we all give, in order to become better, day by day.
Phan: Regardless of problems we meet daily with the extremely bad gear we play on and such stuff which simply doesn't do anything else but demotivate us, we still manage to keep our heads up and just get over every possible obstacle, and find our way to the top.
Phan: Finally, I would like to thank every fan of ours, everyone who is willing to support us, and we are really looking forward to justify our, and expectations of yours. Special shoutout to my real life buddy ecstasy.fly, the best doter ever! <3 Peace out people !

Serbia 25cm.Andre:
Well first of all i'd like to say i love playing with 25cm guys as well as hanging out with them on ts and in real life. we had a huge lan event in Belgrade recently, where 25cm proved to be the best team in Serbia, winning the Belgrade Gaming Festival. I'm amazed what we managed to do in just one month - winning almost every official match and even having 1:1 with GGnet. I feel that the team wud have improved by far, if there weren't any problems with communication, since we are usually only 3 on ts while playing. With a support from some good gaming organisation, this team could compete on highest level in Europe.
Shoutout to everyone who supported visatm and everyone who supports 25cm, and huge shoutout to whole 25cm roster, Flow4v, Iyonic and Konami *smiles*

Denmark 25cm.Flow4v:
I would like to start off by saying that i'm pretty new to 25cm.DotA, due to my former team had some activity issues, and me and ANdre later on moved to 25cm.DotA. I've known these guys for more than 8 years, but with different nicknames - and I have to admit, I really fell in love with this clan from day one, they are all such cool guys, and they all have a great personality. Recently i found out that they were actually a team, that could stand up to ANY european team out there, and I KNOW that they will do great against everyone, and in every tournament. Day by day I see them grow into a stronger team, they train alot, they have a great team atmosphere (probably because they know eachother in real life), and they are motivated to be one of the top teams in the world - Without a doubt, I see that happening VERY soon. I would like to thank them all individually, but some of it is too personal - if you know what I mean *winks* - NERF CHIUAHUAA PLEASE !!! - jokes aside, this team will be in the top 10, and with a little support, it would happen very soon!

I have been trying to contact many sponsors, and i have been taken for granted most of the times - unfortunately, i was very lucky with a few organisaions, who later stated they diddn't have the financial support to actually support us. As many might have heard, SHIFT.DotA became Next Evolution ESC by me introducing them to each other, and that was kind of my last way out. We are still looking for a very serious sponsor, and we would appreciate any kind of support offered. I hope that the release of DotA2 makes all the organisations hesitate to pick up any DotA teams, since DotA2 is only an "upgrade" of the current DotA. - we are to be contacted in #25cm.DotA on quakenet mIRC, and on my e-mail [email protected] - I would like to note, that i really appreciate seeing so many supporters in our channel, and i'm really glad to see that alot of people favourize us / are our fans. We would ofcourse love it if many more came *smiles*
Hey guys, do you mind introducing yourself to everyone that’s reading?

Matori: Hi, I am Stefan Matori Markovic, captain of team 25cm, I'm a 20 year old student from Serbia, Novi Sad,I mostly play support heroes for the team.

Tzar: Hello, I'm Jovan "Tzar" Dragasevic, a 20 year old student from Belgrade, Serbia, and I usually take on the solo hero in team 25cm.

How is your relationship with your team, how long have you known each other and how long have you been playing together?

Matori: Chiuahua, JovaPROTAJD and me know eachother for 9 years already, and we are good friends in real life. We met phan- about 1 year ago, when he came to study in Novi Sad, and with tzar a bit later (over the net). So, chiuahua, jova and I have been playing together for over 8 years. Phan joined last year, and Tzar few months ago. I would say we play only for 3 months with this current team. Tzar and I met around 8 months ago, we didnt start playing together at the time.

Tzar: We've been playing together for around 8 months, as a team.

How often do you guys practice? Do you usually try out new strategies?

Tzar: Even though we all have college, work, and other stuff to attend to, we try and practice at least twice a week, playing fws with high skilled teams and official matches when we have them. We constantly try and improve our picking strategies, with DotA evolving constantly, and more and more teams using different strats, we try to adapt, and to make our own, being as innovative as possible!

Matori: We have a good team spirit, and it is becoming even better the longer we play together.

Recently you guys won the BGF lan, how did playing on lan differ from playing online? Did it affect your gameplay?

Matori: well, 4 of us are from same city, so we often play from lan anyway, so it didn't differ a lot. It was only better because tzar was there with us, adding to our teamplay, also playing lan tournaments is always something special.

Tzar: But it has been a very different experience for me, since I usually play from home, and it really is a great feeling when you have your entire team sitting next to you, helps the team spirit, and also makes the game more enjoyable.

Chivava and Tzar played for Serbia in the MYM PN3, how good did you think the Serb’s performance was? Was there anything you guys felt 25cm could have added to the Serbian team if more of them were to play?

Tzar: Well, it's really hard to say, because just getting to the semifinals was a big success for Serbian DotA, and the team was mostly made of players that used to play for big teams, but who knows, perhaps if some guys from our team were playing it might have been a bit different, since I'm sure we have the assets to add to any team. But all in all, I can just congratulate the guys that played, and they did our country proud *laughs*

What do you guys think about the team visatm, the runner-ups to the BGF lan?

Matori: visatm is not playing actively anymore, but there is process of forming new Serbian team that will be pretty strong, but i am not allowed to talk about that. You will see for yourselves soon SHOUTOUT TO SHOMY *smiles*

Recently you guys played against SAG and picked a RIKI and still managed to beat them! Why riki? Did you guys practice with riki before?

Tzar: The thing you have to know is that if you give Chivava an invis hero, it's autowin. *laughs* On a more serious note, we felt it just fit in pretty well with what we currently had and we have such players that we can practically play any hero if it fits in the strategy, and Rikimaru fit! And also, we always try to be different, play heroes that are rarely used, and we tend to practice them in fws!

Matori: Other than that, since tzar joined 25cm just recently, he probably doesn’t know that riki was our (Chiuahuas) trademark hero for a long time.

What about the recent changes icefrog has made, is there anything you particularly like or dislike? Did they introduce any new strats to the team?

Matori: Personally, I’m used to the stable version, and we are still practicing on 6.71b. We did play few clan wars on new version, can't realy tell if I like or dislike something yet. It didn't yet, but i hope it will give us room for trying new strategies.

Tzar: Well the thing I'm really excited about is that there are so many heroes that are viable for play now, that new strategies are bound to come!

Since the reformation of 25cm, have you had the chance to play versus any of the top euro teams?

Tzar: Considering we're still relatively new to the scene, probably the biggest team we took on was team GG in ICS, and we managed to play 1-1 with them, which was a very good result for us. Also, other notable teams are SGC, Virus, SAG, which were all very interesting games. Our next big test will be against M5 in F4F 3.5, which we are all very excited about!

Matori: We also took on some top teams in clanwars, and they went pretty well.

Playing against M5 could be quite a challenge; do you guys have any surprises for M5?

Matori: It will be a big challenge for us, since M5 is one of the best teams there is. We will try to prepare as much as we can, and if we give our best, who knows, maybe we can surprise them.

Matori: We will pick riki *smiles*

As for now, do you guys have any plans to attend any of the coming lan tournaments?
Matori: As much as we wish to attend any lan tournaments, it may be hard, since we dont have any sponsors who could help us in achieving that.

Tzar: But if we manage to start cooperating with an organisation that shares our ideas, who knows!

You guys have done well in the euro scene, how do you feel you would fare against Asian teams, especially the Chinese?

Tzar: Well it's really hard to compare us to any Asian team, because we didn't really have any experience with them, but their way of organising is just on another level than European DotA, but I really believe we have a good team, and with some more experience I can see ourselves beating any top tier team, whether it be an EU or an Asian team.
