Meanwhile, three players are confirmed to be out from Team Liquid’s 2022 roster.

Two teams are finalizing their 2022 lineup as the year ends. One is building their team for the upcoming season, the other sees three of their players leaving the roster. The roster change is expected to happen by the start of the year, to facilitate the upcoming CS:GO circuit season.

Team Liquid

Thanks to a social media post on their official account, Team Liquid confirmed that three of their players will not be playing for the team in 2022, according to Team Liquid Counter-Strike: Global Offensive General Manager Steve “jokasteve” Perino. The players are:

  • Jacky “Stewie2K” Yip
  • Michael “Grim” Wince
  • Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo

“As of today, moving forward, Grim, FalleN and Stewie are no longer on our starting lineup. We’ll be providing more information on our social platforms in the coming weeks.”-  jokasteve

According to other reports online, Stewie2K is in talks with Evil Geniuses, Grim is talking to Complexity Gaming and FalleN is looking to start his team in Brazil.

Team Liquid’s 2022 CS:GO roster will reportedly be the following:

compLexity Gaming

As a sign of their imminent return to the NA CS:GO scene, compLexity Gaming is set to sign new players to make up their core NA player for 2022. The names on the lips of many include:

The trio from Extra Salt is from one of the better-known small  CS:GO teams in NA, where the team impressively finished fifth at the cs_summit 8 event. The team also gained a string of first places in the second-tier scene and participated in the IEM Season XVI Fall: North America, where they exited the competition during the group stages.

Grim, meanwhile, was a very consistent player for Team Liquid in 2021, with a 0.93 Kill/Death ratio throughout the year. Junior meanwhile comes from FURIA via Bad News Bear, with whom he is currently playing as a loaned player.
