ECS Season 3 - Group drawns and schedule announcement

ECS have announced details regarding the group draws and scheduling for the Season 3 LAN finals taking place this weekend.

With only three days left till the group stage commencement of ECS Season 3, the organisers have revealed the group draws and scheduling for the LAN finals taking place in London, United Kingdom at the SSE Arena, Wembley. Eight teams from all regions of the globe will duke it out for a whopping $660,000 prize pool, in addition to the Season 3 Champions' title.

Below are the eight participants:

United States OpTic Gaming Sweden Fnatic
France G2 Esports United States Team Liquid
Brazil SK Gaming Denmark Astralis

Formatting for the event will see a double-elimination group stage, followed by single-elimination, best-of-three play-offs. Initial group stage matches will see best-of-one match-ups, whilst elimination and decider matches will be best-of-three.

Friday, June 23rd - Group Stage
13:15 - Europe FaZe Clan vs. United States OpTic Gaming
14:30 - France G2 Esports vs. Brazil SK Gaming
15:45 - Group A Winners' 
17:00 - United States Cloud9 vs. Sweden Fnatic
18:15 - United States Team Liquid vs. Denmark Astralis
19:30 - Group B Winners' 

Saturday, June 24th - Elimination & Deciders
12:15 - Group A Elimination
15:15 - Group B Elimination
18:15 - Group A Decider
21:15 - Group B Decider

Sunday, June 25th - Play-offs
13:00 - Semi-final #1
15:30 - Semi-final #2
21:00 - Grand final
