StarLadder have announced that they will be broadcasting HellCase Cup Season 5.
StarLadder, a prominent tournament organiser, has announced that it will be broadcasting the HellCase Cup Season 5. The tournament will feature teams from European and CIS regions, duking it out for a $10,000 prize pool, as well as a slot at the online qualifier for StarLadder i-League StarSeries Season 4.
The tournament will consist of two stages: the group stage and play-offs. A total of sixteen participants will be invited to participate at the group stage, which will see a best-of-three, round robin format. The sixteen teams will be split into four even groups. Upon its conclusion, two teams from each group will advance to the play-offs, where they will join four invited teams. The twelve contestants will battle in a single-elimination, best-of-three bracket.
The $10,000 prize pool will see the following distribution:
1st place - $4,000 + slot at online qualifier for StarLadder i-League StarSeries Season 4
2nd place - $2,000
3rd place - $1,000
4th places - $1,000
5th to 8th places - $500
