After playing with the Nordic duo for several weeks, dignitas announced the official signature of Jesper "TENZKI" Plougmann and Jørgen "cromen" Robertsen along with Morten "zEVES" Vollan as coach.
Team Dignitas have been playing with two stand-ins for weeks after parting ways with Faruk "pita" Pita and Mikail "Maikelele" Bill. Jesper "TENZKI" Plougmann and Jørgen "cromen" Robertsen proved to be what Ricardo "fox" Pacheco's team needed as they qualified for Europe Minor after beating Team Kinguin, Red Reserve and Space Soldiers. The team then went on to compete in the qualifiers for ESL One: Cologne 2017 where they fell short to Heroic in the very last stage.
The official announcement meant a return to the dignitas organisation for TENZKI who represented its colours for almost nine months from October 2015 to July 2016. On the other side, cromen's latest spell was with Norse. Together with TENZKI and cromen, Morten "zEVES" Vollan also signed his contract and took the role of coach. Cromen stated that he believes playing for dignitas is a great opportunity for him to show his potential.
Lately, our results have shown great improvement and we can be a top contender with more time to practice and synergize together. We are fortunate to have such incredible fans, leadership, and sponsors supporting us.”
Michael "ODEE" O'Dell, President of Team Dignitas added that their new arrivals will "make a lot of noise moving forward".
Team Dignitas currently compete in ECS Season 3 and have just three victories in twelve maps. Other than the prestigious league, they will be attending the European Minor for PGL Major Kraków 2017 between June 15th-18th.
