PGL Major Kraków 2017 - European Minor Championship LAN finalists determined

The European Minor Championship closed qualifier has concluded, determining eight teams to participate at the LAN finals.

Following the conclusion of the CIS Minor Championship, the European version has also come to a conclusion. Eight teams have surpassed their respective opponents to secure a placement at the LAN finals of the European Minor Championship, taking place at the PGL Studios in Bucharest, Romania on June 15th-18th. Eight teams will duke it out for $50,000 in prize money, as well as the three sought-after PGL Major Kraków 2017 main qualifier spots.

The European qualifier saw the Swiss format played out, with eight teams to reach a 3-x win/loss ratio to proceed to the LAN finals. Some astonishing developments were seen over its course, as the likes of Heroic, Ninjas in Pyjamas, Space Soldiers, North Academy and Epsilon Esports didn't make the cut. The list of top eight teams brings a fresh batch of blood to the European scene, with young talent surpassing the veterans.
