pyth no longer part of Ninjas in Pyjamas

The rifler's contract expired and was not renewed.

Jacob "plyth" Mourujärvi has left Ninjas in Pyjamas (NiP) after being with the team for almost a year and a half, according to Twitter. The rifler tweeted the announcement early Friday morning, saying that his contract has expired "due to an agreement" and that he was no longer part of NiP. At this time, there is no word on whether or not he'll be joining another team or will take a step back from CS:GO.

Pyth had been on the active roster until March of this year, when he was benched due to "recent results." He was replaced by William “draken” Sundin, who has been playing for NiP ever since. The team has not placed higher than fifth in any tournaments they've participated in this year, with their last major win being their first-place finish at Intel Extreme Masters Oakland this past November. Most recently, the team came in tenth overall in the ESL Pro League Season 5 - Europe and 5-6th place range at cs_summit, losing to Cloud9 with a 0:2 score.

Ninjas in Pyjamas has yet to make an official announcement themselves, but have wished their former player luck in the future on Twitter.
