BIG and Ghost Gaming have been promoted to participate at ESL Pro League Season 6 after outshining their respective opponents  in the relegation playoffs with 2-0 scores.

All participants have been decided upon the conclusion of both the European and North American regional relegation matches for ESL Pro League Season 5. Four teams emerged from the relegation matches, two from the ESEA Season 24 EU and NA finals and finally twenty-two were drafted for being in the top eleven of Season 5 league play.
