Fnatic and mousesports join the ranks of invited teams for DreamHack Summer 2017.
DreamHack have issued a further two invites, with Fnatic and mousesports on the receiving end of said invites. The two teams will join SK Gaming, Gambit Esports and four other teams at the Elmia Convention Centre in Jönköping, Sweden on June 17th-19th. With a total of eight participants, six teams will be issued direct invites, whilst two teams will have to make their way via a European and North American qualifier.
With the addition of Fnatic and mousesports, these are the known participants of DreamHack Summer 2017:

The Swedes of Fnatic haven't recently participated at a LAN setting, however what they did manage to do is secure a placement at the finals of ESL Pro League Season 5, after securing 5th place on the league play leader board. In regards to their most recent LAN performance, the team was seen at the StarLadder i-League StarSeries Season 3 LAN finals, where they fell to Natus Vincere in the quarter-finals, hence securing a disappointing 5th-8th place. DreamHack Summer 2017 will be their perfect opportunity to appease the home crowd, as well as remind the world of their once legendary status.
Mousesports have been showing some strong results following the addition of Tomáš "oskar" Š?astný, who has been on fire ever since joining. With the AWPers help the team managed to clock in 3rd at DreamHack ASTRO Open: Tours 2017, as well as secure a placement in the LAN finals of ESL Pro League Season 5, after their win/loss ratio exceeded the likes of Fnatic, Na'Vi and Team EnVyUs. The team is demonstrating some strong CS:GO and it will be interesting to see how much of a threat they can pose during DreamHack Summer 2017.
