iBUYPOWER have announced the full eight team line-up for the upcoming iBUYPOWER Spring Invitational 2017.
iBUYPOWER have announced all eight participating teams at the upcoming Spring Invitational 2017, held on April 1st-2nd. With $16,000 up for grabs, the teams will kick off in the quarter-finals stage with a single-elimination, best-of-three format. Matches will be played online and may be viewed on the iBUYPOWER Twitch.tv channel.

Last year's iteration of the Spring Invitational saw North America's finest, Cloud9, snatch first place along with a $10,000 prize purse. In the quarter-finals the team outperformed OpTic Gaming, securing two consecutive maps - de_Cache (16-3) and de_Mirage (19-17). Next up were Selfless Gaming, who put up less of a fight than the previous opponents. A two map sweep saw a swift de_Dust2 (16-5) and de_Cache (16-3), swiftly propelling the team into the grand final. In said final, Cloud9 met fellow Americans, Team Liquid, the only team in the tournament that was able to take it to three maps against the team. Initially Liquid grab de_Dust2 (19-17), with Cloud9 following up with two consecutive victories on de_Train (16-7) and de_Cache (16-5).
