CLG adds Rickeh

Counter Logic Gaming has decided to bring in former Renegades member Ricardo “Rickeh” Mulholland.

The North American has been scraping by with just four players since mid-February, when the team said goodbye to Yassine "Subroza"' Taoufik following his decision to step down from the line-up for personal reasons. CLG temporarily tapped former in-game leader James "hazed" Cobb to step in, but now the team has sourced an permanent replacement with today's signing of Ricardo "Rickeh" Mulholland.

Mulholland most recently was seen playing for the Australian line-up of Renegades, the team from which he was removed in order to bring in Simon "atter" Attersam, as well as having played for a number of other top Australian teams such as Immunity. According to Counter Logic Gaming, Rickeh has already completed the move to the team's gaming house in Los Angeles, having flown in the week prior.

Chet "ImAPet" Singh, CLG's strategic coach, had the following to say about the signing:

We decided on Rickeh because we were looking for a consistent and experienced talent. Rickeh has shown to be a strong rifler and playmaker in practice. In addition to rifling, he will also be our secondary AWPer in most maps. Koosta will remain our primary AWPer. Rickeh is a great addition to the team and I'm excited to work with this roster and to show that we can be a strong force in future LAN tournaments.

United States Counter Logic Gaming now consists of:

Canada Pujan "FNS" Mehta
Australia Ricardo "Rickeh" Mulholland
United States Stephen "reltuC" Cutler
