StarLadder i-League StarSeries Season 3 - Americas qualifier reaches playoffs

The Americas qualifier for StarLadder i-League StarSeries Season 3 have reached the playoffs stage, with sixteen teams remaining in the race for a ticket to Kiev, Ukraine.

Qualifiers for StarLadder i-League StarSeries Season 3 have reached the playoffs stage, with sixteen teams to butt heads in the coming five days, all for a chance to secure a placement in the LAN finals of the tournament. With only two slots available for the expansive region the competition is sure to be vicious throughout. 

To remind you, StarLadder i-League StarSeries Season 3 sports a $300,000 prize pool, hosted once again in Kiev, Ukraine at the Ukraina Palace. Sixteen teams, eight of which received direct invites and eight of which topped their regional qualifiers will participate at the event, playing for the largest slice of the cash pie. Qualifiers were available for three regions: China, Americas and Europe. Thus far only the Chinese qualifier has concluded, with Korea MVP Project, China 5POWER and China TyLoo securing the three available slots at the LAN final. In the following five days, both the Americas and European qualifiers will take place, determining two and three teams, respectively, that will fly out to Kiev.

As there are three slots for the event, two will be distributed to the top teams from the semi-finals, and the third will be decided in a match for third place between losers of the semi-finals.
