Tricked have announced the signing of two players, Asger "AcilioN" Larsen and Michael "Friis" Jørgensen, as well as the departure of Lasse "maeVe" Elgaard.
The Danish team's roster was down to four after the transfer of Jakob "JUGi" Hansen to Heroic. Tricked's roster is now back to five players, as the team announced Asger "AcilioN" Larsen and Michael "Friis" Jørgensen had joined the squad. In order to open space for their new signings, Nicolai "HUNDEN" Petersen's team parted ways with Lasse "maeVe" Elgaard.
The official announcement also included a satement from HUNDEN:
maeVe had been playing for Tricked since last September and achieved top-two finishes at HellCase Cup #2, Global Offensive Champions League Season 5 and several Danish tournaments. Friis saw out 2016 with Heroic which was formed by the core of former Danish SK Gaming squad but he spent January inactive as Heroic had benched him. The other signing of Tricked, AcilioN, has been playing online matches for Tricked throughout this month after leaving Splyce and North America, where he spent six months.
Tricked have been struggling for a while as the team failed to impress at the Dolphin CS: GO Shoot 'Em Up 2, StarLadder i-League Season 3 European qualifiers and ECS Season 3 Development League European qualifiers. Their sole active league is Razer Rising Stars EU League Season 1 where they started their campaign with one victory and one draw.
Tricked's new line-up consists of:
