Cloud9 to attend cs_summit

Beyond The Summit has announced Cloud9 as the third invited team for cs_summit.

Beyond The Summit will organize cs_summit on 19th-23rd April in Los Angeles, California. The tournament will gather eight top level teams that will compete for their share of a $100,000 prize pool. With the attending team list growing, it looks like Beyond The Summit's first ever CS: GO tournament will be stacked with some of the finest teams in the scene.

After SK Gaming and OpTic received their invites, now Cloud9 joined the invited team list for cs_summit. The North American team is the first confirmed team for cs_summit that didn't compete at the ELEAGUE Major. Jordan "n0thing" Gilbert's team enjoyed success earlier in 2016 when they lifted ESL Pro League Season 5 trophy, however after that they failed to qualify for ELEAGUE Major.

Apart from Cloud9, the Brazilians of SK Gaming and the new OpTic Gaming that features Spencer "Hiko" Martin and Luis "peacemaker" Tadeu will be present in Los Angeles. SK's last three LAN events were ELEAGUE Season 2, ECS Season 2 Finals and ELEAGUE Major. Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo and co. secured semi-final spots at all three events but weren't able to reach the Grand Finals at either one. On the other hand, OpTic Gaming failed to impress at ELEAGUE Major after reaching Grand Finals at ELEAGUE Season 2 and ECS Season 2 Finals.

As of today, these are the invited teams for cs_summit:
