Kicking off day two was a matchup between two teams from the same country - Sweden. GODSENT, loaded with three former major title holders was expected to take away the series; however this was far from the reality, as the team was in for a struggle against their countrymen. Train was the first map visited by the teams, where GODSENT started off on the T side of affairs. Epsilon demonstrated a formidable CT side, pressuring the favourites into a few mistakes early on, causing GODSENT to amass a small deficit going into the second half. Epsilon lead with a 9:6 score prior to switching sides. GODSENT regain composure in the latter half as the team retaliate consistently against the advances of Epsilon. The underdogs were very close indeed to securing the map; however the experience of GODSENT played a vital role in securing the first map of the series at a 16:14 score.
Next was de_Cache, the first map of the series, but by no means the last, that saw an overtime. GODSENT commence on the CT side, where the team sees a rather successful stretch. The team progressively forwarded their lead over Epsilon through good individual play and communication. The first half concluded at a 9:6 in favour of GODSENT's CT side. Epsilon returned the favour in the latter half, as the team mirrored their opponent's score, leading to an overtime. In said overtime Epsilon came up with a surprisingly dominant performance, whereby the team absolutely smashed their opponent 6:1, securing the series for the last map.
The deciding map of the series was de_Mirage. The initial performance of Epsilon's CT side was absolutely flawless, GODSENT seemed completely out of their element to a point where many wrote the match off. Thing weren't working out for the favourites and victory was seemingly out of reach when the reality of a 13:2 half in favour of Epsilon struck. Reminiscent of the Fnatic pauses GODSENT composed themselves and gradually came back into the game. Slowly grinding away at their opponent proved effective, as the deficit gap was closing as each round went in their favour. In fact, it proved effective to a point where the team equalised, securing an overtime extension at 15:15. The overtime was doubled up as neither team was ready to lose; however the victor is sole and after a double overtime GODSENT finally persevered and took the series away with a 6:2 overtime score.
HellRaisers vs.
Space Soldiers
Winner:
HellRaisers
Maps: de_Nuke, de_Cobblestone - 11:4, 5:8 (16:12); 12:3, 4:10 (16:13)
MVP:
Kirill "ANGE1" Karasiow
Next up was the European mix against the Turkish roster of Space Soldiers. The teams started out on de__Nuke, where HellRaisers showed a stellar performance on the T side. It was clear that the team prepared the map, which played in their favour as the team was able to amass a rather extensive 11:4 lead in the first half of the map. Space Soldiers attempted to mount a comeback in the second half; however unfortunately for the team too much was given away initially, meaning the team conceded the first map at 16:12 in favour of HellRaisers' CT side.
The teams proceeded to de_Cobblestone, which ended up being the last map of the best-of-three series. HellRaisers get off to an absolutely amazing start, where the team consistently outperforms their opponent via perfect bombsite holds and exchanges. Said performance lead to a flabbergasting 12:3 CT side lead going into the latter half. On the CT side, Space Soldiers were able to land quite a formidable score line; however in the end the same problem as per the first map haunted the team, whereby the deficit was just too large to handle. HellRaisers advance to the winners' final of the EU Minor Championship.

HellRaisers
Maps: de_Train, de_Cobblestone - 7:8, 9:6 (16:14); 6:9, 10:5 (16:14)

The final best of three of the day saw HellRaisers show yet another convincing performance against the stacked roster of GODSENT. It all started on de_Train, where we saw both teams go shoulder to shoulder throughout the initial half. The Swedes managed to pull slightly ahead when it came to half time, securing an 8:7 lead over their opponents. Despite conceding a single round to GODSENT, HellRaisers were focused on a victory, which proved to be true as the team seemed much more up to the task in the second half. The European mix switches to the T side of affairs, where they successfully go on to secure just enough round to accelerate one round ahead of GODSENT. The match culminates at 16:14 in favour of HellRaisers and proceeds to map two.
Cobblestone proved to be the last map of the day. GODSENT were entirely aware of what was at stake and it indefinitely showed. HellRaisers start on the T side of the map, where they seemingly don't feel quite as comfortable. The first half was rather close in terms of score as GODSENT excel with a three round surplus on the CT side, 9:6. HellRaisers follow up with a very convincing second half, where the team simply works, securing 10 rounds to GODSENT's 5, closing out day two of the EU Minor Championship at 16:14.
