The World Championships 2016 finals are set to start October 6th-9th in Belgrade, Serbia. Eight teams will battle for the $100,000 prize pool.
Argentina, Canada, Denmark, France, Singapore, Sweden, Tunisia and Turkey are the eight nations ready to compete against each other – since the format of the group stage, held at EFRAG’s studio, is a round of robin system.
Set to start in Kombank Arena, playoffs will consist of best-of-three matches between the first and eight classified in group stage, the second and seventh, and so on. The final, which France won last year against Poland, is a best-of-five game happening on October 9th.
The prize distribution and the calendar are as follows:
1st place - $50,000
2nd place - $20,000
3rd and 4th places - $10,000
5th to 8th places - $2,500
