E-Corp Gaming have secured first place in the Grand Final of Skylla September, taking away the Champions' title, along with $1,500 in prize money.

E-Corp Gaming are pronounced Champions of Skylla September as the team were able to overpower Oserv eSports in a best-of-three series. The victor was able to keep the series to two maps - de_Cache (16:14) and de_Train (16:6). Below you will find a brief recap of both maps.

Skylla September - Grand Final

France E-Corp Gaming vs. France Oserv eSport
Winner: France E-Corp Gaming
Maps:
de_Cache, de_Train - 12:3, 4:11 (16:14); 10:5, 6:1 (16:6)
MVP: France
Léonard "SmyLi" Michelino

The series started on de_Cache, where E-Corp Gaming demonstrated a strong performance off the get-go. Kicking off on the T side, the Frenchmen were very playing a very comfortable game against their countrymen, so much so that it seemed relatively easy for them at times. E-Corp pushed Oserv's boundaries, leading to a 12:3 finish for the former. In the second half Oserv eSport definitely woke up, making the leader question their position. Rounds progressively went in favour of the team, up until the final, deciding round, where unfortunately for Oserv they were unable to push the map into overtime. E-Corp secure de_Cache at an incredibly close 16:14.

Closing out the tournament was de_Train, where E-Corp were able to demonstrate their true capabilities on the map. It seemed that Oserv weren't as confident on the map, leading to a rather disappointing loss for the team. E-Corp Gaming started on the T side again, securing a formidable lead by half time. The Frenchmen amass a 10:5 lead prior to switching to the CT side of de_Train. Momentum developed over the course of the former half followed through for the team, leading to a strong 6:1 second half finish. E-Corp secure the Champions' title, as well as the first place $1,500 prize money.
