The final details are now known for the inaugural CS:GO tournament at this year's ESL One New York with ESL's announcement of the initial team matchups as well as the distribution of the $250,000 prize pot. ESL One New York will follow a slightly unorthodox format, utilizing the Swiss system which implements elements of round robin play without requiring all teams to play each other, Matches are played in rounds, with the initial round of play determing the next. The current matchups for the first round are:
