Singapore have been announced as the replacements for the disqualified Chinese team.
E-frag.net, the organizers of the $100,000 CS:GO World Championship, have announced today that the Chinese team will not be attending the event for the second year in a row.
Last year was much of the same, with the Chinese players not being able to get a visa and being forced to skip the event. The organizers took that into consideration and ruled that the players would not have enough time to get a visa in time for the event, and disqualified them as a result.
They also announced that Singapore will be taking their place despite losing 0-3 to China in the grand finals of the 24-team Asian qualifier. They will travel to Belgrade, Serbia for the event that will be taking place from October 5-9.
