StarLadder i-League StarSeries Season 2 - Day One: Heroic to 1/4 finals

Heroic surpass all expectations, securing the first quarter-finals slot at the StarLadder i-League StarSeries Season 2 LAN finals.

After securing a victory against their  fellow Danes from Astralis, Heroic pushed on to face TyLoo, the underdog Chinese team that managed to edge out Na'Vi from the winners' bracket of group C. The battle was fierce, however the Danish roster managed to secure the best-of-one to be branded the first quarter-finalist of the StarLadder i-League StarSeries Season 2 LAN finals. Below you will find a brief outline of what happened during the match on de_Cobblestone.

A very entertaining, close match to watch indeed, however a victor was inevitably selected and said victor was none other than the Danish roster of Heroic. It all kicked off on the CT side for the Danes as they seemingly had very few issues running the defence. The players were focused, rarely letting mistakes slip, which allowed them to propel to an 11:4 finish at half time.

TyLoo were not about to give up and after switching onto the CT side they composed with the aim to win. Rounds went by in favour of the Chinese team, causing the Danes to slightly lose their confidence. Despite the setback, the Danes focused their efforts and grinded the Chinese out in an incredibly close match, scoring 16:13 in conclusion.
