MK beat PENTA to win $10,000 at the Global Grandmasters Tournament.
Global Grandmasters, the online tournament hosted by Kinguin and Fanobet ended just yesterday. Sixteen invited European teams, among which big names like ENCE and Epsilon, battled it out for the top four places and a chance at winning a part of the $20,000 prize money.
The tournament saw well-known teams like Heroic, ENCE, Epsilon, Space Soldiers, and even Kinguin beaten by the quarter-finals which led to MK beating AGG 2-0 and PENTA beating Spirit 2-0 to both make it to the finals.
The first map of the finals, Dust 2, was heavily in MK's advantage as they ended up beating PENTA 16-4. The second map however was a bit closer yet the Bulgarians managed to still beat PENTA in a close 16-14 game on Cache.
MK seem to be on winning streak, coming from their first place finish at the offline ESEA Season 22 Global Challenge where they defeated Crowns to win $18,000.
