The European and CIS open qualifiers for the $500,000 EPICENTER: Moscow event have concluded.?
Open qualifiers for the European and CIS regions have taken course, with Team123 and Tengri securing spots at each qualifier respectively. The two underdogs will be joining invited teams in coming days to fight for a chance to participate at the LAN finals of the event that will be held in Moscow, Russia.
Tengri, a Kazakh representative managed to best fellow countrymen zARLANS at the final of the CIS open qualifier, in a very convincing 16:6 fashion. On the European side of things, Epsilon were left disappointed as Danish Team123 were able to beat the Swedes on de_Nuke with a 16:11 score. Both of these victories meant that the respective victor was to face more established teams at the closed qualifiers for the event. With the open qualifiers complete, teams for both the European and CIS closed qualifiers are now known:
