ROG Masters announces new $50,000 Asia CS:GO tournament?.
ROG Masters have announced a new $50,000 tournament for five different regions: China, Oceania, South East Asia, East Asia, and any other country that isn't a part of in any of the other regions. The open qualifiers for the five regions will be taking place during September and October with the 12-team finals taking place from November 12-13 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The qualifiers will be a BO1, round-robin groups of four format, with two teams advancing to single-elimination playoffs. Each qualifier will give two teams the opportunity to take part at the Kuala Lumpur finals while two more will receive direct invites. The full schedule is below:
September 5-11 - Oceania Open Qualifier
September 12-18 - East Asia Open Qualifier
September 19-25 - South East Asia Open Qualifier
September 26-October 2 - China Open Qualifier
October 3 - Rest of Asia Open Qualifier
