The Chinese qualifiers for StarLadder i-League Season 2 have ended, CyberZen secure a first place finish.?
After the first stage of the Chinese qualifier for the SL i-League StarSeries Season 2 came to and end, eight qualified teams joined the four invited ones (TyLoo, VG.CyberZen, MVP project, Athletico BH) in Stage 2, which was played offline in Shanghai, China. The upper, BO3 bracket saw VG.Cyberzen defeating B.O.O.T while Born Of Fire lost to the only Korean team after a semi-random draw to find quarter-final match-ups.
The two winners faced off in the semi-finals for one of three spots in the China finals. While VG.CyberZen was off to a bad start and lost de_Mirage 9-16 to the Korean MVP Project, they did managed to win de_Train 16-10. de_Cache was a different story as CyberZen dominated MVP in a 16-2 win and won themselves a place at the $300,000 finals in Nanjing from September 7-11.
