OpTic Gaming and Tempo Storm take 1st and 2nd place at the American Minor Championships securing the last two spots for the upcoming ESL One Cologne qualifier.
OpTic gaming took first place in the American Minor Championships beating Tempo Storm in a Bo3. Both teams close out the final spots for the ESL One Cologne Major Qualifier taking place at the ESL studios in Katowice, Poland on June 9-12th. They are competing among 14 other teams hoping to be one of the top 8 whom will then move on to the Cologne Major itself, taking place July 8-10th at the Laxness Arena in Cologne, Germany. Eight of said teams qualified through their performance in last year's major, whereas OpTic and Tempo, among 6 others had to qualify via their respective regional minor championships.
