ESL Pro League finals winner
Luminosity Gaming has secured another title after taking home the crown at the ESL ESEA Pro League offline finals this weekend, which saw them face G2 eSports in the best-of-five grand finals and come out on top 3:2, the winning map being de_inferno.
ESL announces WESA
After much speculation, ESL released their official statement on their new organization, WESA or World eSports Organization, a regulatory body for tournaments that features player representation as well as a board of officials that will create rules and policies. FugLy out of CLG
Counter Logic Gaming revealed this week that their most recent acquisition, Jacob "FugLy" Medina, will no longer be playing with the team after finishing their run in FaceIt's ECS league. Neither Medina nor the organization has stated why he was removed, but rumours suggest that it was due to his poor performance in past months.
MK joins up with Team Orbit
E-Frag's former line-up has been without a organization for almost a month, but this week they will be homeless no longer as Team Orbit has announced that they have signed on the team after dropping their previous roster just days before.
Arcade signs DavCost and kibaken
The CIS team Arcade has parted ways with Pavel “hutji” Lashkov and Dmitriy “jR” Chervak this week, citing their lacklustre performance at the CIS Minor. Arcade, who only played two maps at the minor before being eliminated, have announced that taking the place of these two will be former Flipsid3 Tactics and Worst Players member Vadim “DavCost” Vasilyev, joined by Anton “kibaken” Kolesnikov.
