MLG have announced that they will be organising the Americas Minor Championship.
MLG will be organising the Americas Minor Championship, the one of the four precursors to the upcoming major championship, ESL One: Cologne 2016. Eight teams from the Americas will fight it out at the MLG Arena on May 19th-22nd in a bid to secure one of two spots at the $1,000,000 Major tournament in Cologne, Germany.
A total of eight teams, four qualified and four invited will be participating at the event. Three of the qualified teams will be decided through the North American qualifier, whilst a single team will be determined through the South American qualifier. Said four qualified teams will join the likes of Tempo Storm,
OpTic Gaming,
Selfless Gaming and
NRG eSports at the LAN Finals of the event, which will be held at the MLG Arena in Columbus, Ohio, USA on May 19th through 22nd.
