DreamHack have announced the first qualifier for the European Minor tournament, taking place on April 23rd-24th.
DreamHack recently announced the first qualifier for the upcoming European Minor tournament. Said qualifier will consist of two stages - the open and closed stages.
Schedule for open stage:
12:00 CEST - Will be run until top eight teams from the 512 total are decided.
The open stage is available for all interested teams, up to a maximum of 512. The majority of players from each team must be from countries within Europe, as well as be clear from VAC bans and suspensions. Matches, all of which are best-of-one, are held on the 23rd of April and will continue until the top eight teams are decided. For teams interested in participating, sign up here.
Schedule for closed stage:
15:00 CEST - Round of sixteen
18:00 CEST - Round of eight
The closed portion of the qualifier will feature a total of sixteen teams, eight qualified and eight invited. Matches will be played in a single elimination bracket, best-of-three format. Teams that proceed to the semi-finals qualify for the DreamHack CS:GO European Minor, held at DreamHack Tours on May 14th-16th.
