Fnatic have yet another trophy to put on the shelf after defeating Astralis this weekend at ESL Expo Barcelona, a tournament featuring the unique life-based system that was first seen at IEM Gamescom. Operation Wildfire live
A whopping two gigabyte update to CS:GO hit on Thursday, which introduced the brand-new Operation Wildfire as well as the much-anticipated release of the reworked de_nuke, which has been out of the active duty pool for months. Wildfire introduces seven new maps to play, as well as the normal operation coin to track stats. Alongside this, Valve has released another knife type, the Bowie knife, as well as a massive list of bugfixes and community-requested changes.
adreN out of Liquid, adds koosta
Last week it was rumored that Enemy had released Kenneth ''koosta'' Suen in order to allow him to replace someone on Team Liquid; that was confirmed this week as Liquid announced they had cut Eric "adreN" Hoag from their starting lineup to make room for him. adreN now will be taking a back seat as a substitute for the team for the time being.
Devilwalk retires
Jonatan "Devilwalk" Lundberg, former fnatic coach and Winterfox member revealed this week that he will be quitting Counter-Strike for the time being due to health issues. The Swedish pro has recently had issues with wrist pain, and continuing to play was making his condition worse.
Planetkey picks up new team
