SK Gaming have succesfully defeated Team Dignitas at the 99damage Master #4 Finals.

After a best-of-three series, that involved all three maps, SK Gaming managed to overthrow their countrymen, Team Dignitas, securing two maps out of three at the Finals of the event. The Danes have secured themselves a grand prize of $15,010 (€13,305).

The first map of the series was de_mirage. Initially, both teams set out at a fairly even pace, however, Dignitas seemed to excel slightly ahead on their CT side, landing an 8:7 round score at the end of the first half. During the following half, SK Gaming were not able to push back the advances from their opponents, securing only five rounds in the second half. Team Dignitas went on to close off the match at 16:12.

Next up was de_cache. Contrary to their first map, SK Gaming were absolutely dominating throughout the entirety of it. Upon conclusion of the first half they managed to secure a whopping 11 rounds on their CT side, compared to Dignitas' 4. During the second half, Dignitas made an attempt at a comeback, however only secured a single round, finalising the map at 16:5 in favour of SK Gaming.

Finally we saw de_dust2, where it was uncertain which team would come out on top, as there was no clear favourite going into the map. Dignitas demonstrated a very decent CT side during the first half, effectively countering and outplaying their countrymen. All in all the first half concluded at a 9:6 score in favour of Dignitas. SK Gaming were behind a few rounds, however this did not stop them from persevering. Dignitas managed to claw a total of three rounds in the second half, whilst SK Gaming brought their A game along and landed a total of nine rounds, ending the series 16:12 in favour of SK Gaming.
