Fnatic are the champions of ESL One Cologne 2015. The Swedish team managed to take down Team EnVyUs 2-0 to win the title and $100,000.

The final day of ESL One Cologne 2015 closed today with the now three-time major champions, Fnatic, defeating their rivals EnVyUs 2-0 on de_dust2 and de_cobble. The Swedish team made their way through the playoffs by defeating Luminosity in the quarterfinals and Virtus.Pro in the semifinals, while nV took down Natus Vincere and Team SoloMid respectively for their spot in the grandfinals.
The most exciting map of the series proved to be de_dust2, a map that EnVyUs have been known to put up good results on. The first eight rounds seemed to show that the French side was going to have one of their signature performances, as they managed to climb to impressive 7:1 lead on their T side in a dominating fashion; although fnatic secured four more rounds, the half still ended 10:5 in nV's favor. However, EnVyUs stumbled near the final stretch, allowing fnatic to someone how catch up from single digits to bring the map to overtime. As insult to injury, fnatic closed out in OT with a clean T half a single round to close out the map 19:15.
The close loss clearly got to the Frenchmen on the second map, de_cobble, where nV didn't get much farther than the first handful of rounds on their T side. The team looked to have strong opening in the match as their explosive drop push netted them a a quick and easy pistol round. The momentum fell apart in the first gun round however, where fnatic showed their crushing T side power, which allowed them to take a 9:6 scoreline. Starting with a relatively even half, fnatic took control of the rest of the match, seemingly able to walk into sites with ease, the situation wasn't helped by an uncharacteristically poor performance from nV's recent acquisition Kenny "kennyS" Schrub, who only managed to score a single kill in the first half. Fnatic finished up the match quickly from then on with a 16:7 finish, giving them the series win and their third CS:GO major title, a first for any team in the game's history.
