nV takes down NiP at Gfinity Summer

EnVyUs took down the Ninjas in Pyjamas in a 3-0 stomp this weekend at the Gfinity Summer Masters in the grandfinals match. The french side took a flawless group stage and took down team Dignitas in the semfinals to get to the final best of five against NiP. Kinguin drops SKYTTEN

 

Team Kinguin revealed this week that they will dropping their in-game leader Alexander "SKYTTEN" Carlsson from their roster after the other four memebers decided he was negetivly impacting the team. Kinguin's manager Daniel Morales had the following to say about the roster changes:   

Right now we have a 4-men roster with a substitute. We keep our positive mind, high spirits and our plans for the future which didn’t change one bit. We will keep you informed as the situation changes. Kinguin will attend the ESL One Cologne Qualifier today with Dennis "dennis" Edman as a stand-in. Thank you for all the support, it means a lot. See you on the field!

stfN accused of  fraud

German CS:GO pro Stefan "stfN" Seier underwent a scare this week after momentarily recieving a ten year ban by the Electronic Sports League for alleged fraud, and as a result being instantily cut by his team, UX Gaming. However, all was returned to normal less than twenty-four hours later, when ESL recinded their desicion, and Seier was returned to UX Gaming's roster. Xizt to return to in-game leading

The Ninjas in Pyjamas tried to refresh their lineup this month by moving Christopher "GeT_RiGhT" Alesund to the squads main in-game leader; however, after sub-par results under the star lurker's leadership, the team has reinstated their normal IGL, Richard "Xizt" Landström, to restore the team's balance. GeT_RiGhT will now be able to devote all of his attention to fragging and lurking for NiP.

 

HUNDEN out of SK 

This week saw another IGL change, this time within SK Gaming. The team cut their longtime in-game leader Nicolai "HUNDEN" Petersen from their roster, and will be replacing him with 1.6 veteren Danny 'BERRY' Krüger. SK had the following to say about the move:

We have decided that we need to take a different approach in CS:GO in order to move further in its high level competitive scene. Thus, we've came to the conclusion to change the in-game leader of the team. We had the need of change in our style of play as well as a new captain to increase the overall efficiency of our players' talent.
