These new limited-edition consoles look claw-some.
Developer Insomniac Games and Sony Interactive Entertainment have officially revealed a series of limited-edition PlayStation hardware themed after Marvel’s Wolverine. A new PlayStation 5 Digital Edition bundle has been revealed with the game included, sporting Wolverine’s iconic yellow suit and claw marks.
Additionally, PS5 console covers and a DualSense wireless controller are being released as limited-edition Wolverine-themed accessories.

Sony Interactive Entertainment has officially announced a suite of new limited-edition hardware and accessories themed after Marvel’s Wolverine. These items come in two varieties of colours: Yellow and Adamantium, the latter of which leans closer to white. Regardless of the chosen colour, fans will get artwork of the titular hero Wolverine splashed on consoles, along with his signature claw marks on the DualSense controller.
The new artwork was created by Jock, a Scottish comic book artist renowned for his work on Batman and Wolverine books. Jock worked with Sony Interactive Entertainment and Insomniac Games to help design the artwork accompanying these new accessories and PS5 bundle.

The big ticket item here is a PS5 Digital Edition bundle that includes a copy of Marvel’s Wolverine via a redeemable game code. If you already own a console, you’ll also be able to snap up new Console Covers for the PS5 and PS5 Pro. Interestingly, there is no bundle for the PS5 Disc Edition, which is in line with Sony’s controversial decision to end physical disc production in 2028.
The new Marvel’s Wolverine limited-edition PS5 console bundle and accessories will launch on 15 September in limited quantities, but pre-orders will begin on 19 August at local retailers. However, it should be noted that the Wolverine-themed PS5 and PS5 Pro Console Covers will not be available for pre-order.
