iBUYPOWER announces Summer CS:GO Invitational Tournament

iBUYPOWER hosts their second online invitational tournament, featuring eight teams and a prize pot of $10,000 USD.

After a first, successful invitational in late Feburary, iBUYPOWER, a company based in City of Industry, CA, announced on May 22, 2015 that they are hosting a summer invitational tournament. The Summer CS:GO Invitational Tournament, teaming up with CEVO, along with big-name sponsors such as Intel, Microsoft, and Western Digital, features eight of North America's best teams and a prize pot of $10,000.

“We were thrilled with the success of the last IBP Invitational CS:GO Tournament, so we are excited to join iBUYPOWER for a second time, bringing Intel’s technology to the enthusiastic CS:GO community... We love to see the world’s best gamers, going head-to-head with one another, to determine who best masters Counter Strike Global Offensive." - Intel Client Marketing Director, Steve R. Peterson's statement on the invitational tournament.

The eight teams invited include the last invitational's champion's, Counter Logic Gaming. Also joining in is Cloud9, who were absent from the last tournament. Along with these teams are Elevate, Luminosity Gaming, Team Liquid, Keyd Stars, Nihilium Gaming, and a eighth and final team which will be decided in an online qualifier in the coming weeks.

The tournament will start on June 20th at 10:00 AM PST and end June 21st. You can catch all the action on the company's Twitch TV page. And, as always, GosuGamers will keep you up to date on brackets, scores, and vods.
