Electronic Sports League has announced that 3DMAX will take NiP's slot in the ESL Pro League.
The Swedish side had initially secured themselves a direct invite alongside six other teams, following their victory at ESL One Cologne. It was now confirmed that NiP will not perceive the opportunity to play in ESL's just recently announced Pro League, where $48,000 would have been up for grabs. They rather take December to go on vacation, meaning the next time we will see them in a major tournament will be for XGames Aspen in late January.
The now remaining spot has been handed to 3DMAX, who were the second team with the highest number of community votes behind Planetkey Dynamics. They will now be placed in group A and put up against myXMG in their first match.
