Volcano replaces desi in Team eLevate, desi joins iBUYPOWER

Team eLevate has announced that Sal "Volcano" Garozzo will be replacing Derek "desi" Branchen in their CS:GO team.

The news comes following the recent roster changes of Team iBUYPOWER, which left eLevate's Derek "desi" Branchen stepping-in for Joshua "steel" Nissan and Sam "DaZeD" Marine amidst the upcoming DreamHack Winter 2014 major.

It now appears that Team eLevate has sold Branchen's contract to Team iBUYPOWER, effectively making him a permanent player for the North American giants. In his place is The Stream Team's Sal "Volcano" Garozzo who will play for the team at the ESEA Season 17 LAN, and the upcoming MLG X-Games Qualifier.

Brandon "MaDDoG" Hatfield, CEO of Team eLevate had the following to say about the situation:

Volcano is a perfect fit for the eLevate CS:GO team. He has been playing with (mostly against) some of our players for over a decade, and is a great friend to all of our roster. He brings experience, intellegence, and fragging power that will help the team improve their overall chemistry/skill. I am excited to see his performance at ESEA LAN later this year.

Team eLevate will now have the following roster:

United States Will "RUSH" Wierzba
United States Tyler "Storm" Wood
United States Matt "Warden" Dickens
United States Sal "Volcano" Garozzo
Canada David "Xp3" Garrido
