After one week of Natus Vincere's decision to pull out from the Caseking tournament, Fnatic and Team LDLC went for the same move.
Natus Vincere were first in the line of teams who decided to pull out from this event. The Ukranian team got replaced by Cloud9, the North American team who will be in Sweden bootcamping for Dreamhack Winter.
Following their decision, Fnatic and Team LDLC have also decided to pull out from Caseking King of the Kings tournament, in order to take a small break and prepare well for the upcoming major, Dreamhack Winter. They will be replaced with two German teams, Planetkey Dynamics and mousesports.
The format of the final event will feature two GSL groups of four teams. The opening matches will be played in best-of-one format, while the WB and LB finals, along with the consolidation final, will be played in best-of-three. The matches of Group A are scheduled to take place on November 11th to the 12th, while Group B will take place from November 13th through to 14th. The finals will be played on November 16th.
