The second day of GameShow LAN finals have concluded and Natus Vincere are the first finalists, while HellRaisers and Virtus.pro will have to battle out for the second spot in the finals.
The opening match of day 2 was between Virtus.pro and myXMG. They played in lower bracket round 1 which was an elimination match in best-of-three series. The first map was played on de_mirage where the Polish team totally dominated, winning with the score 16-5(13-2). The Danes have woke up and performed a lot better on the next map which was de_dust2. The first half went into their favor with the score of 8-7, while the next one was won by Virtus.pro 9-5 making it 16-13 in total for them. myXMG got eliminated and will have to leave with a $2,000 prize money. It also should be mentioned that MICHU has show a really great performance, so Virtus.pro can be satisfied with the pasha's replacement at this event.
Winner's bracket finals were played between the two Ukranian teams, Natus Vincere and HellRaisers. HellRaisers got a better opening and won a first half with 9-6, however Na'Vi didn't surrender and they made a nice comeback making it 14-14 and in the end 16-14 for them. The next map was one of the Na'Vis favourite, de_inferno. They kicked off on a CT side again by losing a few entry rounds, but they managed to make a lead at the end of half with 9-6. In the next half both teams were equal so Na'Vi secured a win with 16-12 and a spot in the Grand Finals. HellRaisers will be taking on Virtus.pro for the second spot tomorrow on 08.00 CEST.
The third playday will begin tomorrow with the Lower Bracket final match between HellRaisers and Virtus.pro, scheduled to take place at 08.00 CEST. Natus Vincere will play against the winner of that duel in the Grand Finals at 12.00 CEST.
