SLTV StarSeries Season X is finally over, with Fnatic taking home the grand prize of $14,000. Coming from the lower bracket, Na'Vi still stood strong bringing the grand finals to a fourth map, but unfortunately came in 2nd with an extremely close 16-14 loss. Nonetheless, Na'Vi still won with a respectable $7,000 second place prize.

The first map of grand finals was the best one so far at this tournament. It literally consisted of everything, comebacks, overtime, greats plays etc. Na'Vi started at CT side by winning 4 rounds in a row, Fnatic striked back with 1 round and Na'Vi took again 4 consecutive rounds before Fnatic could claim a second round for them in the first half, which in the end was the far they could go, since the Ukranian team had 13-2 at the half time. The second half have seen Na'Vi winning a pistol round in a very close fight, where olofm. landed a two great jump headshots with USP-S, however he had not enough time to defuse the bomb. Na'Vi made it 15-2 and everything looked like this series will go into the next map, however Fnatic made a great show, proving that even impossible is possible. The Swedes picked double op strategy which worked out perfectly by winning 13 rounds in a row, making it 15-15. In the overtime Fnatic continued their dominancy at CT side by winning 2 more rounds making it 15 in a row, but Na'Vi finally broke this huge streak making it 17-16 for Fnatic. The second half of overtime was just pure executions of Na'Vi on a CT side. The final score was 19-17.
The second map was de_inferno, one of Fnatic's favorites. Na'Vi won a knife round which allowed them to pick a side. Fnatic ended up on T side first which didn't gave them much trouble to show how good they're on this map. They won 6 rounds in a row before the Ukranian team managed to score their first round. The Swedes had 13-1 at one point, but Na'Vi made it 13-2 at the end of the first half. The second half saw Na'Vi claiming the pistol round, which in the end wasn't enough. Fnatic won this map with 16-3 score.
The third map of this grand finals was de_train, the map which was recently left out of the competitive map pool. Na'Vi once again won a knife round which allowed them to kick off at CT, a more favored, side on this map. They did it in a fashion, making it 10-0 and a first half 13-2. However, Fnatic denied them in a second pistol round on this map, which brough them to 13-6. Both teams were trading rounds, but eventually Na'Vi came on the top with 16-11.
The coint toss decided that de_dust2 will be the final map of this finals. During this map both teams faced issues with the lags and PC's, however they didnt fail to put a good show. Fnatic started on CT side by winning a pistol round, however Edward made it even 1-1 by picking a quad kill. Na'Vi extended their lead to 4-2, but Fnatic prevented them of making it any bigger and at the end of first half Fnatic took the lead by 8-7. The second pistol round kicked nicely for the Ukranian team, however Zeus made a slight missplay by killing his teammate GuardiaN and this round went into Fnatic's way. Fnatic easily dealt with Na'Vi's eco rounds and made a nice lead of 12-8. But Na'Vi showed once again how good they are on dust2 even on a less favored side, by turning around the score and making it 12-13 for them. There was an interesting play by flusha who got between starix and Edward which were both had their backs turned to him and he easily landed 2 HS's which in the end weren't enough for winning the round since he got shutted by seized. After Na'Vi's streak Fnatic managed to make their own making it 15-13. Na'Vi denied the first match point, but couldn't repeat the same in the final round and the Season X of SLTV went to Fnatic.
Dust2 was once again the entry map of Na'Vi vs HR duel. HellRaisers started the match on T side by winning the first 3 rounds, however Natus Vincere managed to make the score even, 3-3. From that point on, HellRaisers were playing their game led by brilliant markeloff and Dosia, to make it 11-4 on a half time. In the second half they again won a pistol round and extended their lead to 15-4, Na'Vi won one more round with a force buy, however the final score was 16-5.
HellRaisers have definitely used the warm-up of first best-of-three today, because Na'Vi have just looked so cold in this duel. Second map kicked with HR on CT side winning 2 entry rounds, however Na'Vi couldnt turn it other way, so HellRaisers were building up their lead all the way up to 10-5 in the first half. The only one in the mood for 'killing' was GuardiaN, who was running into there enemies picking up all the kills alone, however that wasn't enough for them and HR had a nice lead after the first half. The second half have seen a totally different Na'Vi. They got awaken, winning 9 consecutive rounds until HR were able to score one round on T side. However, the end score was 16-11 into the Natus Vincere's favor and they'll be going into the third map now.
The deciding map of this series was de_mirage. Na'Vi continued their dominancy on CT side from the last map and made a lead of 5-0, but then HellRaisers managd to make a short streak to make it 6-5, which in the end was their final number of rounds in the first half, 10-5. The second half brought Na'Vi a win in second pistol round which then extended to 13-5, but HR won the first gun round for them on CT side making it 14-6. Na'Vi had a match point on 15-8 and they scored it. They have a chance now to defend their title against fnatic in the finals.
HellRaisers vs myXMG
The first map of this match was de_dust2, where HellRaisers kicked off at CT side by winning the entry pistol round and two more rounds which followed. After ecoing two rounds, myXMG managed to pick their first round making it 3-1, however no major upset was allowed by HR since they brought it back to 4-1. The next round have seen a HUNDEN's show, where he clutched 1vs3 situation while being eco and won a round for the Danes. The result was even all up until 5-5 where again 1vs3 situation was seen just PnX had a role now, Dosia made some nice entry frags killing 3 opponents, however he went into chase and it allowed PnX to get him and later on kill two more players in this round. The half time score was 9-6 into HellRaisers' favor, where the second part of this map was just a pure execution by them making it 16-8 in the end.
The second map have seen more or less the same scenario from the first one. myXMG perfectly opened the map on T side by winning the pistol round, however HellRaisers decided to invest into smoke grenades in eco round and it paid off since they took down 3 big guns from the Danes. The next eco round of HR have seen Kucher making 4 kills and scoring the first round for his team on this map. The result was even up until 5-5 when HellRaisers made a decent lead at the end of first half 10-5. The second pistol round was won by HR and they went up to 13-6, when myXMG had to start changing something in their game. MSL made and awesome plays by dealing with 1vs4 situation on A bomb site, killing all the opponents and defusing the bomb. However, HellRaisers managed to put an end to this match with the score of 16-8 and myXMG is the first eliminated team from StarSeries X LAN Finals.
