The round robin league play of Star Series Season X will come to a close tonight with Mousesports, Fnatic, HellRaisers and Natus Vincere as the four qualified teams for the LAN finals to be held at the Cybersport Arena in Kiev, Ukraine, from 30th to 31st of August.
While HellRaisers' attendance to the Season X Starladder finals was never in doubt throughout the playing period, Mousesports, Fnatic and Natus Vincere had to secure their participation in their last matches. These teams managed to separate themselves from the other promising candidates Virtus.pro, Titan and ESG, whom were unable to make it into the top four.
The last four matches of round robin will be played tonight with the following schedule:
18.00 CEST- Berzerk(ex Penta) vs OnlineBOTS - BO1
19.00 CEST- Berzerk(ex Penta) vs Nostalgie - BO1
20.00 CEST- ESC Gaming vs Over Gaming - BO1
21.00 CEST- Mousesports vs Epsilon - BO1
The LAN main event will have Mousesports against Natus Vincere in the first round of Playoffs, while Fnatic will take on HellRaisers. The matches will be double elimination best-of-three series, so dropping one series still allows for the possibility of a losers bracket comeback.
