Following the twelve-years-long tradition Professional Gamers League Romania and ComputerGames.ro are presenting the fourth season of Romanian eSport Championship with $10,000 prize pool in total.
The event is open for all Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, DotA 2, League of Legends and HearthStone enthusiasts and will kick off on August 11th.
Format:
All participating teams will gather points throughout the championship’s three main stages, thus being ranked accordingly. Each of the three main stages span over a month, roughly, and consist of weekly confrontations throughout two brackets of 16 teams and a play-off phase culminating into LAN finals. Once the three main stages draw to an end, the four top ranked teams will qualify for the grand finals on the stage of DreamHack Masters Bucharest, between October 31st and November 2nd.
Prize distribution:
The 10 000 USD will be split among the four tournaments, as follows:
- 3000 USD for each of the Counter Strike: Global Offensive, DotA 2 and League of Legends tournaments, out of which 200 USD for the winners of the three intermediate LAN finals and the other 1200 USD, 700 USD, 500 USD for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd places at the DreamHack Masters Bucharest Grand Finals.
- As for HearthStone – an individual tournament, the prize money is sitting on 700 USD, out of which 50 USD for the winners of the three intermediate LAN finals and the other 300 USD,150 USD, 100 USD for the top three players at the DreamHack Masters Bucharest Grand Finals.
Registrations for ReC 4’s first week of confrontations will open on August 4, at 10:00 am and will last up until August 8, 06:00 pm, Bucharest time zone. The registration can be made through this link.
