Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo: "All we need to do is keep thinking about our community."

Following is a transcripted interview from the ESL Pro League Season 3 LAN Finals, after Luminosity Gaming managed to overpower NiP. We had a chat with Gabriel Toledo a.k.a FalleN to get his analysis of the match, his opinion of London, projections for the final and his opinion on WESA, the recently announced team organisation.

Aleksei: Hi guys Aleksei here from GosuGamers.net, I’m here with FalleN from Luminosity Gaming. How are you Gabriel?
Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo: Hello guys, I’m good, and you?
Aleksei: Yeah not bad man, thanks.

Aleksei: How did the game against NiP go?
Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo: The game was super good, we won the first map pretty convincingly, then the second map we lost, de_dust2 . I think it would have been a different game if we won both pistols. Super close on winning the first, maybe the second one was worse, because we made the mistake of fighting Xizt with the bomb, giving him the chance he needed, he’s a super good guy so he won it. The third map went pretty easily for both teams as T side, but we secured more rounds as we started T first, so it was a good 2:1 and now we’re going to the finals.

Aleksei: Is this your first time in London? How are you enjoying it?
Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo: Actually it’s the second time, the first time I came here was when I was flying to China to play *inaudible*, it was another FPS game. We had a small break here, but this is the first time with the team, its good. They (the team) went to visit the city yesterday and I’m going today after this interview to visit some places with my girlfriend. London is beautiful.

Aleksei: That’s cool. You have the finals against the victors of Fnatic vs. G2 eSports, who would you prefer to face?
Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo: I have no preference to be honest. I think both teams will be difficult, I think Fnatic have a better map pool if we go to a Bo5 against them tomorrow, so I don’t know, let’s face whoever is better today.

Aleksei: On an off-topic note, Tempo Storm recently won the CEVO Gfinity Season 9 LAN Finals, as one of their mentors, what was your experience when that happened?
Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo: London is a great place for Brazilian guys, they just came back, two weeks ago they won a tournament here. It’s amazing for them and they are guys that fight a lot, they are practicing hard and it feels good for them to be winning a large tournament. It wasn’t an easy tournament, they beat V.P, some other good teams and after SK in the finals, so congrats to them, very happy for them.

Aleksei: What do you think about the recently announced WESA?
Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo: Being honest I’m very new to this subject. I have not been adjusted and don’t know too much to talk about it, but the only thing I know is that we need to take care of everything in CS right now because it seems to be working, what we’re doing right now is working. We have a lot of people organising tournaments, we have DreamHack, FACEIT, MLG, ESL, so it’s working well as it is. I’m not sure how far WESA wants to go and we need more info in order to talk better about this subject. All we need to do is keep thinking about our community I think, any goal of any move we want to do needs to keep the community in mind, so let’s see how it’s going to be in the future.

Aleksei: Cool man, thank you very much for the interview and best of luck tomorrow at the finals!
Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo: Thank you guys!
