TyLoo start on the CT side of de_Cache.
TyLoo kick off the match by landing an extremely close match with Luminosity. The first half saw a mediocre CT performance, where the underdogs closed off with a three round deficit at 6:9. On their T half, however, they managed to effectively compromise the Brazilian defence and sneak by, closing out de_Cache 16:14.

Luminosity had a close first match, they were set to come back. Overpass seemed to go their way on both sides as they had an 11:4 finish on the T side, then transferred the momentum onto the CT side, giving away a measly three rounds to the Chinese roster. LG finish off at 16:7.

It was show time for the Chinese squad and boy did they turn up. Kicking off on the T side we same some great aggression and entry frags, allowing for a great initial lead of 9:6. Things got rather close after this as Luminosity managed to secure six rounds, however clearly it wasn’t enough as the first half gave the underdogs that much needed boost to close the match off. TyLoo upset Luminosity Gaming with a 16:12 score.

Sweden GODSENT vs. United States Counter Logic Gaming - 3:12, 12:3, 4:1 (19:16); 8:7, 8:1 (16:8)
Winner: Sweden GODSENT
Map: de_Overpass , de_Cache
MVP: Sweden Simon "twist" Eliasson - 66:36

GODSENT start on the T side of de_Overpass.
The only map that saw an overtime over the entirety of today. GODSENT were off to a bad start, giving away an incredible amount of rounds on their T side. CLG were unstoppable, securing a whopping twelve rounds to GODSENT’s three. Things were looking rough for the Swedes but their experience and collectiveness allowed for a godly comeback. A mirrored score was seen for the second half, pushing the map into overtime. At this point the Swedes switched on and decided it was go time, as they rolled over the Americans in a 4:1 overtime score.

Flying on angelic wings of momentum, GODSENT were set. You could see the hunger in their eyes. The first half saw them on the defensive side of Cache, where they went pretty even with their opponents. The teams went blow for blow, culminating in an 8:7 first half. This is where it got nasty for CLG. Nothing seemed to work for the Americans and despite all efforts the Swedes were simply unstoppable in taking bombsites, so much so that they closed out the match after giving up only but a single round - 16:8.

Denmark Astralis vs. Sweden Ninjas in Pyjamas11:4, 5:1 (16:5); 5:10, 4:6 (9:16); 7:8, 9:4 (16:12)
Winner: Sweden Ninjas in Pyjamas

MVP: Sweden Patrik "f0rest" Lindberg - 63:44

NiP start on the T side of de_Cache.
Ladies and gentlemen, magic was in the air. NiP kick off to a very determined start on Cache. The Swedes started as Ts and dominated the map, reminiscent of the old days. Round by round went by in favour of NiP to an 11:4 half time point. The Swedes didn’t play around with their prey as they quickly finished it off in a 5:1 manner, closing off the map on a 16:5 note.

The predator becomes the prey. Astralis demonstrate a resurgence, springing back into the game. Inferno is notoriously CT-sided and only the finest of teams are capable of truly perfecting the aggressive half of the map. A decent half for both teams, concluding at 10:5 in favour of Astralis. On the T side it seemed that the Danes had a plan and performed well, outplaying their opponents on several occasions. This lead to victory for the team, ending the map at 16:9 for Astralis.

NiP start on the T side of de_Train.
Train would decide the team that would start packing their bags for the journey home. Initially we saw a grind between the two teams going neck to neck in terms of rounds. A very close first half meant a 7:8 finish in favour of Astralis. NiP demonstrated a more comfortable game on the defensive side of the map, allowing them to amass a lead on the Danes, that ultimately meant they would be proceeding to the Malmo Arena this Saturday. NiP took it away with a 16:12 score.

France Team EnVyUs vs. Brazil Tempo Storm - 7:8, 9:1 (16:9); 9:6, 7:8 (16:14)
Winner: France Team EnVyUs
Map: de_Dust2 , de_Inferno
MVP: France Dan "apEX" Madesclaire - 52:38

nV start on the CT side of de_Dust2.
The final series of the day saw a good performance from both teams, however only one of the could advance to the playoffs. EnVyUs roll out on the CT side of Dust2, where they pretty much break even with the Brazilian representative. The teams grind the score to a very close 7:8 in favour of Tempo Storm. At this point Tempo Storm experience great difficulties fending off the advances from nV, as round after round went in favour of the Frenchmen. The boys in blue walk away with a cool 16:9 score.

It was now or never for the Brazilian squad that has proven so much in such a little period of time. EnVyUs played their notoriously loose, play-based CS that worked extremely well against the Brazilians. They simply couldn’t retaliate as everything fell in place for the terrorists. EnVyUs close off the T side on a three round surplus, 9:6. The second half was incredibly close. The only thing that stopped Tempo Storm from pushing the series to a third map were those crucial rounds that were given up during the first half. EnVyUs grind the Brazilians out at an 8:7 score, finalising the day at a 16:14 win and spot in the playoffs.
