ReMinD: WCG most important tournament

[s]event_397[/s]

WarCraft is dying in Korea, they don't have any support from KeSPA at all. He thinks World Cyber Games is the most important 1on1 tournament. ReminD has spoken, and the press room surely listened.

Just before the Grand Finals, ReMinD answered the journalists' questions. Most of them concerned the WarCraft 3 situation in Korea and the crippled World Elite. ReMinD says that they would have had better chances if Sky and TeD were here, he thinks they would be in the final, and the manager Reis who helped translating agreed.
- Shit happens, we will just give our best, he says and smiles.

It is hard to have a Korean/Chinese mixed team. Not only because of the bad internet connections in China, but also because the Korean players' English is far better than that of the Chinese players.
- We can't practice with them very much, says ReMinD. Though Reis says that parts of the World Elite team are planning to go to China and practice there for a period of time.

Nevermind Korea, China or any other Asian country, it is in Europe that the WarCraft 3 scene is the biggest. ReMinD has been in Germany once before, and this time he thinks that it has grown a lot. He says it is hard to judge, but with this big an audience and event, he thinks it shows growth.

The never-ending question - is WarCraft 3 dying in Korea? Is StarCraft stronger? ReMinD says that it is clear that WarCraft 3 is dying in Korea, and that StarCraft is for sure the biggest tournament. When asked whether the Korean Esports Assosciation were helping the Korean players with their studies and avoiding the army, the manager, Reis, quickly stated that the Korean Esports Association do not support WarCraft 3 at all in Korea - only StarCraft.

He considers the World Cyber Games the most important individual tournament out there, and he would very much like to win it, like his team mate Sky. But right now the Battle.Net Season 4 Finals are what matters.

In a bit less than an hour, the Grand Final between the Undead player Lucifer from MeetYourMakers will go up against the Night Elf player ReMinD from World Elite.
