Grubby wins inCup Spring 2005

The Grand Final in the 16-man inCup Season Spring 2005, Grubby won against Lucifer in a 3xBO3 match. This win gives him 500 € and another merit - inCup Season Spring 2005 champion.

After a whole season, the Top 16 players were invited in a Season Final - inCup Spring Season Final 2005. This tournament is thought of as one of the most prestigious online tournaments in WarCraft 3, after WC3Masters. But WC3Masters is on hold, so inCup could be counted as one of the biggest ones, even if the format is a bit difference. Yesterday, the Grand Final played between 4K.Grubby and Korean T.mH]Lucifer. As in many other tournaments, Grubby was one of the favoured players of taking the first prize (500 €). MeetYourMakers.com said this before the match about Grubby: "Unless he runs into early trouble versus his clanmates he will definitely make it into the finals.". And they were right, he did reach the finals - and won it.

Grubby from Loser Bracket

In the second round, Grubby was defeated by 4K.FoV, and was forced to make his way to the finals through the Loser Bracket. He fought on bravely and made it to the Grand Final none the less. There a really strong Lucifer was waiting, coming from Winner Bracket. But Grubby proved to be the better player, winning two sets with 2-1 each.
