It was reported on reddit that Happy has changed his profile description on his Twitter profile to "- ex-professional SC2 & WC3 player" and this change triggered discussions on whether Happy is actually retiring or not. However, he still states on his profile that he will be streaming daily.
To clear everything up, Dmitry "Happy" Kostin explain that he is not entirely retiring; he will indeed be streaming and he plans taking part in tournaments and qualifiers, provided that fans and supporters demand it.
Quite a few fans expected him to "retire" and pointed out that ,during live streams, he had mentioned that he is a high level player, but not a pro looking forward to joining a team. Essentially, he remains a daily streamer, but is no longer a full time StarCraft II player.
