Kings of the North: $3000 prize pool and a LAN event

Eight players will be participating in the Kings of the North LAN event that will be taking place at a live studio in Toronto, Ontario from the 18th to 20th of March.

The Kings of the North tournament is split into three parts, a LAN qualifier, online qualifiers and main event; the two qualifiers occurred during the 27th and 28th and have concluded. These two qualifiers decided two of the eight players participating in the LAN event. The other six participating players were directly invited, completing the list of eight players.

*As of writing, the KOTN has not been updated with the winner of the online qualifiers, according to the ladder, Hydra won, but according to Liquidpedia, Neeb won.

The Kings of the North LAN event on the 18th through 20th of March will be organized by ESChamp and casted by Ravi 'FearDragon' Pareek and Dave 'SteAdfaSt' Loose. There are no tickets available for purchase but fans can follow the games via the stream on Twitch. Although tickets are not available for purchase, a chance to attend the LAN event can still be obtained via ESChamp's crowd funding campaign; by contributing $110 to the campaign, a VIP pass entitling the owner to watch the main event live will be granted.
